Seif Abdallah
Egyptian/American Director/DP, he has studied film at the Los Angeles Film school. Upon his return to his home country, he was able to develop a more nuanced aesthetic in his films using only his phone camera.
On the commercial side, Seif has shot commercials and documentaries for international brands and proved his unique vision in the branded content genre, brands suck as Adidas, BMW, Redbull, Vice Arabia, Sony Music, Jotun, Unicef, and European Union funded institutions.
On the documentary side, Seif has made several short documentaries that explore hidden communities, social taboos and Sufi celebrations across Egypt, while possessing a sense of urgency towards marginalized communities who are neglected by society.
Recently he has shot and directed an award feature documentary which, “Noom El Deek” which sheds a light on the marginalized Sudanese refugees living in Egypt which has recently been screened in:
CIFF Cairo International Film Festival 41st (Egypt).
On Dxb and won 2nd prize in Film (Dubai).
